Great Study Cafe’s in Tbilisi

Having spent the last five years as a student in Tbilisi, I’ve made it my mission to explore the city’s charming cafes perfect for studying. I’ve compiled a list of my top picks, so keep reading and be sure to add them to your must-visit list if you’re in Tbilisi.

Coffee lab

Coffee Lab is one of my favourite coffee spots in Tbilisi! It has a cozy vibe and great coffee options, perfect for hanging out with friends or studying. They offer specialty coffee and a menu with breakfast, brunch, and dessert choices. There’s several branches but one of my faves has to be the one Located at 27 Alexander Kazbegi Ave · Saburtalo by a lovely park, it’s a beautiful setting with indoor and outdoor seating. Plus, the service is fantastic!

Ch’ika

The coziest café close to Rustaveli metro station offers a wide range of coffee choices, and their tasty pancakes are a must-try. Additionally, they provide a dedicated co-working space, making it an ideal spot for a focused study session.

Prospero’s books

Tucked away on a side alley of Rustaveli Street, this café is a real find! Operating since 1999, it’s not only unique but also holds the title of the first English bookstore in the entire Caucasus. Alongside books, you’ll find freshly roasted coffee, sandwiches, salads, and pastries. I wish I had discovered this gem sooner—it quickly became a favorite after I stumbled upon it earlier this year!

Museum Cafe

The Museum Cafe on Rustaveli has amazing decor and atmosphere, plus delicious food. I often go there to study, and the staff are always nice. The bathroom even has a cool neon sign, perfect for selfies. They offer a range of healthy options like sandwiches, salads, and smoothies. Would definitely recommend visiting if your in the Rustaveli area.

Shavi

Discover the cozy ambiance of Shavi Coffee Roasters, offering unique seasonal coffee blends. Located on the cutest street near Rustaveli Metro Station, it’s the ideal spot to savor tasty snacks alongside your coffee. A must visit to add to your list.

Pulp

Pulp is one of my top picks for studying, offering lots of space and the prettiest decor. Their specialty coffee and great selection of natural wines make it an ideal spot for a productive session or a relaxing break.

Red Man Cafe

Situated in the heart of Rustaveli, Red Man Cafe is an ideal destination for both studying and co-working. With a variety of coffee choices and delicious snacks such as bagels, Cinnabon, and pastries, it’s a welcoming haven for students looking for a new study environment.

Daily Grind

Just a short walk from Liberty Square Metro, this café is an absolute gem. With a warm atmosphere, friendly staff, and a tempting selection of sweet treats to pair with your coffee, it’s the perfect spot. Don’t forget to try their variety of Rafs—I was pleasantly surprised by how delicious the lavender Raf was!
